What You Did Yesterday

You said, "Mommy, I know I'm still a kid, but I want to know who I'm going to fall in love with."

You gave Abby her card and then gave me a high five.

You told me that it was your friend, Abby's, birthday and you wanted to buy her a present. I suggested you draw her a picture. At night, you made her a card and told Daddy that she wanted you to be her boyfriend and that you thought you were going to say yes, so that she'd be your girlfriend. Daddy told me that I've been replaced.

You told me when I picked you up from school that you were playing with Grace from Pre-K, and then when you took her toy, she called you an "apple".

I took you to see 101 Dalmations at PPAC and you were SUCH a good boy! When I asked you why you thought the humans in the play were so tall (they were wearing stilts) you said, "Because they're grown-ups, Mommy." Duh!

Because you were so good at the play, Chuck E. Cheese left a token for you on your desk.
