March 26, 2008

You said, "Mommy, I love you so much." Yay!!

You blew bubbles outside with Nonna and Mommy.

March 25, 2008

You were fine with me dropping you off at school this morning, once you saw that you had the puzzles all to yourself.

You refused to eat lunch.

You smiled when you saw me in the afternoon, but then said, "I thought Papa pick me up."

March 24, 2008

When you came into bed with us this morning you said, "I want to go look for more Easter eggs."

You ate all of your lunch at school and did peepee on the potty.

You wanted to touch Mommy's belly because Ari touches his Mommy's belly. Except that when I explained to you that that was because Ari's Mommy has a baby in her belly, you said that I do too.

I explained that being pregnant meant that the mommy has a baby in her belly. You stared at me for a minute and then said, "Mommy, you're so funny" and started giggling.

March 22 & 23, 2008

You came with me to my office and were such a good boy!

We danced to "Crush On You" in the middle of Linens N Things. Everytime they sang the words "crush on you", I dipped you a little and you laughed and laughed and laughed.

You watched Mommy and Papa paint Papa and Nonna's living room, and really wanted to help out.

You decorated Easter eggs with Michaela and Julianna, but were very upset when there were no more eggs left to decorate.

You were a very good boy in church on Easter - except when you flashed your belly and chest to the woman in the crying room.

You were a very good boy at J&Ds for breakfast - except when you flashed your belly and chest to the Easter Bunny.

You didn't nap until 3:00PM.

The Easter Bunny and all those who love you gave you really great Easter presents candy - you're a very loved little boy!

March 18, 2008

You wouldn't listen to Mommy or Daddy in the morning, so you were in time out and then a very unhappy boy on the ride into school.

March 17, 2008

You slept late because you stayed up late, playing with Goggy and Daddy. You slept in your Good Boy Bed all night!!

You went to the Children's Museum with Mommy. At first you were a little scared, when you were greeted by the giant fake teeth ("They're going to bite me, Mommy.") But you absolutely LOVED the water tables.

You got a new Mr. Potato Head toy.

You ate all of your dinner. And because you slept in your Good Boy Bed all night, you got a Hersey's kiss (because Mommy ran out of ice cream.)

March 15 & 16, 2008

We went to see Gip, and saw Aria, Nana, Olivia, Uncle Jaimi and Grandma Patty on the way.

You didn't like Oli.

You watched intently as Daddy and Uncle Paul demolished the front stairs.

You wanted to help with the jackhammer, but I wouldn't let you.

You told Mommy that your tummy hurt, and then you threw up all over me.

You got very upset when we moved your toys down to your playroom and you couldn't help.

March 14, 2008

You got to spend the whole day with Nonna.

You called Auntie Judy , "Auntie Dodo." She laughed.

You yelled loudly for JoAnn when she pulled up in front of the house. You drew a picture for her before she left.

March 13, 2008

You demanded juice while you watched the Wiggles.

When it was time to go to sleep, we had this conversation:

"Who's that, Mommy?" pointing to the t.v.

"That's John. John Denver."

"John Denver."

"And do you know who loves John Denver? Gip."

"Gip."

"Gip loves John Denver."

"I love John Denver, too."

March 12, 2008

You sang "Little Bunny Foo-Foo" all morning.

You told Daddy that his hair was "yucky" because of his hair gel.

You ate all of your chicken and dumplings for dinner.

During naked time, you jumped up and down the hallways, flapping your arms and yelling, "I'm a birdie! I'm a birdie!"

You had trouble going to sleep, so you did shoofy on Mommy.

March 11, 2008

You didn't want to tell Bob about your evening at the carousel and with the Easter Bunny - "I want to tell my friends."

You finger-painted at school.

I asked you twice if I was a good mommy, and both times you said, "No. You're a good horsie."

You were in a great mood all night.

March 10, 2008

I had to wake you up, and when I said, "Peeetteerrrr", you sat up and said, "Good morning, Mommy."

You slept in your good boy bed all night long, but got very upset when I said that you would get ice cream at night, not for breakfast.

We took you to the carousel:

  • The first time you were too scared and had to ride in the handicapped chair with Daddy.
  • The second time I got you to sit on the horse and though you were still scared the entire time and wouldn't let go of me, as soon as it was over, you went running over to Daddy to tell him all about it.
  • The third time it was "Daddy's turn with Peter", and you were still too scared to let go of Daddy, though you would smile and wave almost everytime you saw me.

You saw the Easter Bunny:

  • You wouldn't sit on the Easter Bunny's lap, so you sat on Daddy's lap who sat next to the Easter Bunny (as you put it "just like Santa".)
  • You told Daddy not to let you go because the Easter Bunny "is gonna bite me."
  • You then looked at Daddy and said, "The Easter Bunny is NOT gonna bite me."
  • The woman taking the picture had a stuffed Mickey, and once you saw him ("Mickey!!") you smiled nice and big for the camera.

So this year's Easter picture is the Easter Bunny, you smiling all happily at Mickey, and Daddy laughing hysterically at the whole thing.

March 8 & 9, 2008

You skipped swim class because of your ear infection.

You played with Sarah and RaeRae at their house with their toys and you shared really well.

You did a floor puzzle with Daddy.

You sat on Auntie Susan's lap while they lit the birthday candles for Michaela, and you said, "But it's not my birthday."

You said that you were going to sing Happy Birthday to Michaela, but when the time came you just sat there.

You were in a really great fun mood all weekend!

March 7, 2008

You slept with Mommy and Daddy for the last two hours of the night. That doesn't mean that Mommy and Daddy slept, though.

You had mac n frank for dinner. Plus some of Mommy's grilled cheese and fries. Plus fishes.

March 6, 2008

You played frisbee in Nonna's living room using the top of a tupperware container.

You got your 15th ear infection.

You ate toast for dinner because your "ear is sick."

March 5, 2008

You put your rainboots on by yourself, and didn't care that they were on the wrong feet.

You got annoyed that one of your toys wasn't working and demanded to Papa that it "needs batteries."

You golfed with your new golf set. Papa showed you how Snoopy (the top of the club) needed to "see the ball" so that he could hit it. You then hit it correctly, turned back to Papa and said, "See, Snoopy see the ball, so he hit it."

March 4, 2008

You slept in your good boy bed all night long! So you got ice cream for dessert.

You threw your cup during lunch, and when your teacher told you not to, you crossed your arms and dared her, "Call my Mommy!"

You voted in Presidential Primary.

You repeated, almost word for word, a scene from Everybody Loves Raymond, including a part where Ray whistles.

March 3, 2008

You went to the ear doctor, where we found out that you need your tube put back in.

You crossed your arms and said to me, "I'm not happy with you."
When I asked why, you said, "Because blup blup."

You were in such a giggly mood, that while getting changed for bed, you were laughing to hard over nothing that you gave yourself the hiccups, which made you laugh even more.

March 1 & 2, 2008

You danced with Mommy at Uncle Paul's birthday party.

You tried to do the chicken dance, and shook your little butt each time you were supposed to.

When the music got too loud for you, you stuck your fingers in your ears.

Daddy took you to Church where you learned to say "Peace."

You drove the car-stroller at BJs.

You went in time-out quite a bit because you wouldn't listen to Mommy.

You told Mommy that you want to be a fireman or a ghost for Halloween.
