Drop-off has been really tough this week - lots of crying and clinging and not wanting to see me leave. Yesterday, I bent down to your level and said, "Mommy has to go - give me hugs and kisses." You kissed me and then said, "I'm not gonna cry about you."

Mommy and Daddy took you out to celebrate and you got a new toy, rode the carousel at the mall twice and had dinner at Chelo's - I'm so proud of you!

You "drove your car" in the lake in the Berkshires.
You laughed when Uncle Adam pushed Mommy off the dock.
You watched Charlie Brown sing and loved it.
You went on a "big boat" over to the island to see if there were Pirates. And when we got there, you helped the "good" pirates follow a treasure map. They even let you and Johnny have some of it!! We then escaped off the island while the good pirates and the bad pirates got into a sword fight.
You got your treasure necklace stuck in between two chairs and couldn't get unstuck.
You got a balloon animal of a monkey in a tree, which you decided to pop once we got back to the cottage.
You and Johnny played with legos and puzzles while I shopped for fall clothes for you.
You slept the entire ride home - even through a torrential downpour.
