Your sister started calling you "Peetie" which you don't always recognize as her calling you. She gets frustrated, but once you do acknowledge her calling you, you play so nicely together.

Yesterday you passed your white belt test, and tonight you have your graduation ceremony where you'll receive your yellow belt. Daddy and I are SO proud of you. You were in the first group to go and stood up in front of at least forty people and performed your skills, showing no nervousness whatsoever. You broke the board on your first try. You sat quietly; respectfully, while everyone else had their turn. Afterwards, I could see the very well-deserved pride on your face. Congratulations buddy!

And so the ruse begins... We told you that Daddy has to go to D.C. this weekend. Can't wait for you to find out what we're up to!

You called Nonna an Octopus. When I asked you why, you said because she carries so much stuff.

After a one day delay, you started kindergarten. I'm still not sure how you're old enough to go to kindergarten, but hey, it's the law. You got dressed, helped me pack your backpack, posed on the front steps for pictures, and off we went. When we arrived at school, after dropping off Charlie, you played in the playground while we waited for your teacher. You were smiles and giggles while you and Thomas played tag, but then you fell and scraped your knee and that's where things started to take a turn for the worse. Mrs. Thomas came out to reintroduce herself and when she said that all the parents had to leave you lost it. Mrs. Thomas and the other teachers had to pull you off me. You were so mad, that when they lined you up to bring you inside, I yelled, "Goodbye Goose!" you wouldn't even turn around. That broke my heart.
What you did yesterday amazed me. You've grown from this tiny, little, sweet snuggly baby to this big, confident, creative, intelligent, happy little boy. I still remember the first day I dropped you off at daycare, and now you're in kindergarten. Part of me is so sad that this time has gone by so quickly. Part of me is so happy that you're at this next chapter of your life. I can't wait to see what's next.

We went to Southwick's Zoo for your friend's birthday, and although you loved the zoo, you hated listening to me and Daddy. And so now you're experiencing your first grounding. No TV til Wednesday. :(

You asked if they made cheetos by killing cheetahs and turning them into little squares.

You played "This Little Piggy" on your sister's toes. Except this was your version:
This little piggy had cornbread.
This little piggy made a house of straw.
This little piggy said, "Hi. My name is Piggy."
This little piggy said, "Hi."
When I asked why the last little piggy didn't go to market, as per usual, you said, "Because he was busy."

We went out for dinner, just you and me. You told me that you couldn't stop smiling. :)

After throwing a fit about not wanting to go to school, you went out into the living room with your sister and said to her, "Now listen, we have to go to school. It'll be fine. You know I love you, right? I do. I really love you."

When your sister woke up babbling in her crib, you started talking to her. We could hear you over the monitor.
Your sister: Blah blah blah blah blah!
You: Really? Wow!
Your sister: Blah blah blah!
You: You like spaceships? Me too! We can go up in a rocket together one day.
So cute!

We were listening to the soundtrack for Rapunzel, and the "fake Mommy" told Rapunzel that "the world is a scary place". You said, "Mommy, you know how Rapunzel's fake Mommy is evil?" I said, "Yes". You replied, "Well, but the world IS a scary place, Mommy."
